Friday - 3 body paragraphs/revise

  Today In class we added on to the 2 body paragraphs  and made one more using the notes we learned yesterday on the writing process. I learned how to structure body paragraphs when writing an essay, as well as revise. I plan to use this when writing college essay's or in any future writing classes. I personally did not dislike this assignment since it taught me how to write better but did not like it. I am feeling good today.

 Today we took a benchmark test. I learned about the United States and its history with isolation and how it got to intervening. I personally hated this assignment because we had to write an essay and answer 25 questions. I don't think I can take this into my future or the real world. My day is going terrible.

Friday: Prompt: Write about a song that brings back a specific memory.

 A song for me that brings specific memory is Hotel California from the Eagles. It brings back memories since my dad would always play it when I was a child. Every time we would go to the pool he would play the song. I still love it to this day. Today in class, we started a project on A Lesson Before Dying, and I focused on studying racial injustice and justice. Looking into racial justice made me think about how unfair things used to be and how people fought to change it. It helped me understand why standing up for what’s right is so important.

Monday - Vocabulary 3

 Today we learned 15 new vocabulary words and evidence. I learned 15 new vocabulary words and used them in sentences to better my vocabulary. I will use this when writing essays, talking, and writing anything formal. I personally disliked this assignment because it wasn't very interactive. My day is going good.
